Set within the more mature part of the resort â Aldeia dos Navegadores, this villa was expanded and recuperated from itâs original state, to become the luxury villa it is today. Aldeia dos Navegadores was the first part of the Praia dâel Rey resort to be built, long before the top quality 18 hole golf course, with some of itâs villas existing for over 30 years. The first floor was enlarged and new flooring was installed throughout. The lining of the swimming pool was also redone and new small glass tiles installed.

First major construction for our company, this project was very innovative due to itâs architecture. Because of itâs dimensions and the fact that the architecture was different from most of our other works, this project has given us a lot of experience.

Set within the Aldeia D. Fernando area of the five star resort of Praia dâel Rey, where all plots come with a selection of pre-designed villa prototypes, this unit stands out among its neighbours. Not only for the top quality construction and finishes, but also because of the plot landscape. Instead of having to remove soil in order to have the ground floor at the same level as the road, soil was needed to fill the plot up, thus allowing the villa to be at the level as the main road.

Due to itâs beach front location, this recuperation work was very interesting. Not only did we work on the modernization of the unit and itâs enlargement, but taking into consideration the natural factors it would be facing (being on top of the Atlantic Ocean) the villa was prepared to the highest standards in order to face these factors. All the walls had to be re-done as they were in a very poor condition, and the first floor expanded to fit in the master bedroom and en-suite bathroom.

Beautiful three tiered villa in the Aldeia dos Navegadores â the most mature area of Praia dâel Rey, on the Silver Coast.
Taking into account that this villa is built on a plot with an inclination, enabled for the solar panels to be installed on a tier above the swimming pool, thus avoiding these panels to be placed on the roof and in view. These solar panels are connected to a pump. This pump, in turn, can be programmed so as to be economically intelligent - during the Winter months it is directed to fuel the under-floor heating system, and in the summer for heating the pool.
An underground water deposit with a capacity for 5000 litres, was installed (a decision made by our clients when the construction was all but complete!). This pump collects the rain water which is then used for the irrigation, which is not only cost-effective but also environmentally friendly.

Fantastic four bedroom villa set within the Praia dâel Rey Golf and Beach resort in Obidos. In order to maximise the natural light within the villa, a beautiful sky light was built in. As well as this feature, a roof terrace was also included in the project, so as to enjoy a sea view. For this, a special sealing product was used to ensure that the construction would have no problems in the future with water infiltrations. With the environment to consider, as well as financial benefits, solar panels were installed. These permit the swimming pool to be heated exclusively by solar power.

A luxury unit with basement, this villa had a unique situation, in that during the construction phase there was the presence of a lot of water. The solution found for this was the construction of a drainage well in concrete, which was then used for the definitive drainage system where two pumps were installed, thus making use of this surplus water. These pumps are not unusual in a villa with basement. What was unusual with this situation was that these pumps were installed at the beginning of the construction due to the surplus water preventing our works from advancing. We managed to install the pumps then, use them throughout the construction, and keep them permanently, thus avoiding any extra costs for our clients in having to install a temporary pump only to have a permanent pump installed at the end of construction. As with many of our clients, due to the fact that the owner lived overseas and wasnât present physically for most of the works, the development of construction was all accompanied via internet.

In the Aldeia das Descobertas area of the Praia dâel Rey Golf and Beach Resort in Obidos, this fantastic three bedroom, three bathroom villa was fully fitted with a top of the range kitchen as well as finishes. Because the owners decided to have a jaccuzzi installed on the first floor terrace, all the works had to prepare the villa for this unique characteristic. In order to install this jaccuzzi, a big crane had to be put in place, which caused much upheaval in the area. After several hours of hard work the jaccuzzi was in place. Although the proprietors were living overseas at the time, they accompanied the works throughout via internet, and were very pleased with the outcome.

Aldeia D. Fernando is located inland within Praia dâel Rey Golf and Beach Resort, where this villa with swimming pool is located on the Silver Coast. As a more cost-effective solution, and certainly a more comfortable choice, the heating throughout is all under-floor and electric. This ensures there are no problems in the future in terms of failure and having to open up the floor for fixing (as happens with gas under-floor heating). Swimming pool installed with pump heater.
