Silver Coast part of the Innovative Local Communities
With the Silver Coast as an up and coming area of Portugal, the President of the Portuguese Republic Cavaco Silva made a two day visit to the area last week. As part of the Innovative Local Communities Route, his visit included stops in Peniche and Nazare, where he learned some of the strategies of these coastal communities, Bombarral and The Bom Sucesso Design Resort in Obidos. After his visit to the resort, he went on to have lunch at the Pousada de Obidos restaurant, considered one of the finest in the region.
