Nazare and Astronomy on the Silver Coast
I’ve always enjoyed looking at the stars, and since living in the Silver Coast, have found that I can see them so much clearer than when I lived in the city. Unfortunately when I look up I can just about pinpoint the Big Dipper. Now all that is going to change.
On the 23rd of May the Nazare Town Council has organised an astronomy session with the national astronomer Maximo Ferreira. This will start at 15:30 and will take place in the Municipal Library’s Planetarium. If, like me, you are interested to know more about the stars, don’t miss it. See you there!!!
